In addition to the web-interface process for entering courses and programs, EC2011 will continue to provide a “feed” process using an Excel spreadsheet. This is simply one option institutions have for course information.

Here are several documents which should explain the Course and Program Feed Process. The files Course Feed Word and Program Feed Word will provide you with the getting started information. Instructions for Completing Course Data Entry and Instructions for Completing Program Data contain detailed information about the specific requirements for each field. Course Feed Spreadsheet and Program Feed Spreadsheet have a sample feeds to use as a guide.

You’ll note there are field changes but rest assured all data currently in the system has been mapped and will be included in the course record when the data is rolled.
